TrompTech is a repair and refurbished appliances company based in Breda, the Netherlands. We are responsible for processing your personal data when you use our services or website.

2. What data do we collect?

Contact details: name, email address, phone number, address
Appliance details: type, brand, model, serial number, fault description
Repair details: status, time spent, parts, costs, photos
Order details: orders, invoices, payment data (via Stripe/iDEAL)
Account details: email, password (encrypted)
Technical data: IP address, browser type, visit times (via cookies)

3. Why do we process your data?

Performance of repair and sales agreements
Communication about your repair or order
Invoicing and bookkeeping (legal obligation)
Improvement of our services
Compliance with legal obligations (taxes, GDPR)

4. Retention periods

Customer data: 7 years after the last transaction (fiscal retention obligation). Repair photos and reports: 2 years after completion. Account: until you request deletion. Uncollected appliances: data kept up to 6 months after relinquishment.

5. Sharing with third parties

We only share your data with: Stripe (payment processing), suppliers (only if necessary for parts ordering), and delivery services. We never sell your data to third parties.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

Access: request which data we hold about you
Correction: have inaccurate data corrected
Deletion: request deletion of your data
Portability: receive your data in a common format
Objection: object to processing

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (SSL/TLS), secured databases with row-level security, and hashed passwords. Payment data is processed by Stripe and never stored by us.

8. Cookies

We only use functional cookies needed for the proper functioning of the website and your login session. We do not use tracking or marketing cookies without your consent.
